We are a recreational summer swim team open to the residents of Sparrows Point subdivision in Simpsonville, SC. Residents of other subdivisions may join our team if an outside membership to the pool is purchased. We have limited availability for outside pool memberships.
Our 2022 season runs from May 16th - July 17th. There are 5 regular season meets (2 home and 3 away), one divisional meet, and for those who qualify, classics and championships are the final two events.
Swim Team Practice May 16th - June 2nd:
PM Practices (Monday-Thursday)
10 & Under: 5:30 - 6:30 PM
11 & Up: 6:30 - 7:30 PM
Swim Team Practice June 6th-July 7th:
AM Practices (Monday- Thursday)
10 & Under: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
11 & Up: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
PM Practices (Monday- Wednesday)
11 & Up: 4:30-5:30 PM
10 & Under: 5:30-6:30 PM
July 11th-15th
Swimmers who qualify for Championships and Classics will practice from 9-10 am only.
Thursday June 9th and Thursday June 23rd. The pool will close at 3 pm these days to set up for the meet. The tennis courts will remain open during the swim meets.
During morning practices, one lane can be left opened for residents upon arrival. During the afternoon practices, two lanes will be left open for residents to enjoy the pool.
